Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
Ability to multi-task by answering phones, greeting visitors, filing, data entry, and other miscellaneous duties.
Interaction with the general public.
Cash handling and balancing of all fees collected daily with the use of basic mathematical and accounting principles.
Ability to handle a variety of tasks with attention to detail.
Legal Experience (PREFERRED) The Deputy Clerk for the District Clerk's Office is a Washington County employee and would receive salary and other benefits.
Employment is contingent on passing post-offer, pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and/or periodic drug, criminal background investigations, and motor vehicle record reports as appropriate under policy.
