Materials Supervisor / Manager
Looking for someone to take over the current position of Materials Supervisor / Manager. Our client manufactures process instrumentation components.
Must be a US Citizen or already have obtained a Green Card
Must have a four year degree and relevant experience.
Degree is open to supply chain management, materials management, business management, or an engineering related discipline.
Ten to fifteen years of experience for this management position with focus on the whole supply chain including: demand forecasting, purchasing, procurement, planning, scheduling, receiving, warehousing, shipping, and inventory control. Supervisory experience preferred.
Working knowledge of and experience with lean manufacturing, six sigma, and problem solving techniques like 5 Whys or 8Ds, etc.
Must also know quality systems, practices, and principles in an ISO 9000 environment.
Primary responsibilities will be for the Brenham, TX operation
