Plant Manager

Swift Staffing is currently seeking a PLANT MANAGER in the Brenham, TX area.
Position Purpose:
Provide leadership to the Brenham location to ensure the manufacturing objectives of the plant are met daily. Ensure smooth operation of the plant while meeting production, scheduling, maintenance, quality, safety, and continuous improvement goals.
Summary:
Responsible for business results in all cross functional teams. Ensure service levels meet customer goals and expectations. Be prepared to support new operation initiatives, including new customers, product launch, services and locations as required. Provide coaching and mentoring in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Planning, Scheduling and Continuous Improvement. Aid in the development of company procedures when necessary. Provide direct operational assessments for each leader in both operational and non-operational functions.

Salary Range:
$100K annually

Position Responsibilities - % of Allocation:

Oversee operation, employees and product production goals for the site. 20%
Motivate and direct activities of leaders assigned to the site. 10%
Responsible for the review and approval of quality system procedures and manage any new systems enhancements introduced into the plant. 10%
Responsible for business results, inventory and expenses. 10%
Implement world class manufacturing programs. 10%
Developing programs to reduce costs. 10%
Maintain safe, clean work environment and compliance with all regulations (OSHA/EPA) including plant security. 10%
System development to support operations. 5%
Recommend new capital equipment through ROI to meet new business and increase operating efficiencies. 5%
Work with technology on product development and introductions. 5%
Promotes organization in industry, manufacturing and trade associations. 5%

Position Specific Requirements: Skills, Education, Certifications:

College degree and/or equivalent required and a minimum of 10 years of verifiable related experience in managing all aspects of a manufacturing operations.
Coach and mentor staff to achieve specific goals and objectives set forth.
Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish a plus.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must have the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee will occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. There may be small amounts of non-hazardous airborne particles from time to time.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
